Well Done Anne

Individual Rider  Grant
Anne, one of the riders at TROtt has received a grant from Para-Equestrian Canada.   The competition grants are provided through Para-Equestrian Canada’s athlete development programing, which in partnership with Sport Canada, has awarded close to 60 grants in the past seven years to deserving recipients.
Anne ,16, of Metcalfe, Ont., has been competing in Para-Equestrian Canada’s Sea-to-Sea Video Competition series for a number of years and wishes to progress to Equine Canada Bronze level competitions. Leslie will be attending a schooling show over the winter season and taking extra lessons to ensure she can achieve this goal. Leslie demonstrates true dedication to her sport, but also finds time to volunteer at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario, Ronald McDonald House and Rotary house, while still maintaining an over 90 per cent average at school.
TROtt Awarded Therapeutic Riding Centre Grant
TROtt has also been awarded a grant to implement coaching clinics and develop video competition programs to allow their members to compete against their peers from across Canada.  We will be using the grant to purchase a video camera to use for competition entries and rider development at TROtt.
