Upper Canada Village and Rare Breeds Canada

Over $400 was raised for TROtt at the auction! So many wonderful people to thank!

  •  Pamela Heath from Rare Breeds Canada for thinking of TROtt as the recipient of the auction proceeds at Horse Day on Saturday September 5th held at Upper Canada Village!
  •  Bruse Henbest, coordinator at Upper Canada Village for allowing TROtt to be part of their fundraising auction.
  •  John Mills, the wonderful artist who painted the Canadian mare and foal and then donated the painting to the auction for TROtt.
  •  Arnold Lafave a teamster at Upper Canada Village for creating the wonderfully conceived walking cane and a rustic wooden “scene” on a cross-section of a pine log, which were also donated to the auction for TROtt.

Finally but certainly not least, Robert Filliol who purchased the painting AND the cane on Saturday!  The painting was for his daughter Stephanie’s birthday!

We have invited Stephanie and her family to visit TROtt to see first hand where the money raised will be spent.
